| dc.description.abstract | The phase composition and microstructure characteristics of sintered cylindrical specimens of 12 % chromium ferritic-martensitic steel were investigated using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, and optical metallography. The formation of a characteristic high-defect lamellar martensitic structure with M3C carbide particles and retained austenite, appearing as interlayers along grain boundaries, was observed. Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) results revealed heterogeneity in the elemental composition across different structural regions, particularly in the distribution of Cr and Ni.
