Abstract

Authors carry out an analysis of variance for two main financial indicators (Revenues and Profits) of enterprises included in DM subsection according to the Russian Standard Industrial Classification of Economic Activities. As a sample, the enterprises of aircraft (50), railroad (77) production, shipbuilding (37) (completely Russian ownership) and car manufacturing (completely Russian ownership - 207, joint - 24, foreign - 51) sectors are taken. Authors use the SPARK information system [1] as a data base and take the time period from 2011 to 2015. We found that enterprises in foreign and joint ownership (car manufacturing) are larger than domestic enterprises by revenue. However, they have some decline in revenue in 2014-2015 and the average profit from sales becomes negative in this period. On the contrary, there was an outstripping growth in revenues and profits of domestic enterprises (aircraft production and shipbuilding), which signals a change in the priorities of state policy. This growth is probably due to military orders and the growth of export earnings in the conditions of the ruble depreciation.
