Abstract: The paper covers the results of experimental study in influence of temperature and compressed air pressure, pressing force on operational characteristics of puncher. It is shown that increasing the temperature of compressed air the less the initial degree of compression in the back chamber, the more the energy parameters are, but air consumption decreases unequally for different types of puncher. It is stated that increasing the pressing force the air consumption grows up to a definite limit which is the most significant factor in the case of plugger with spring-loaded valve.
