| Abstract: | The abstract considers the Worldwide CDIO Initiative, its standards and plans. The purposes and tasks of "Professional English Language" are analyzed to determine its correlation with the standards and plans of CDIO. The interdisciplinary connection of "Professional English Language" and "Electronics" is shown. Teaching methods applicable for practical lessons of "Professional English Language" for the 4th year students of Electronics and Automation of Nuclear Power Plants Department are pointed out. The work is urgent as Tomsk Polytechnic University joined the Project and can be useful and recommended for Professional English Language teachers interested in the topic. |
