Abstract: The paper presents a three-dimensional method of measuring diameter and ovality of cylindrical objects in diverging laser beam. Mathematical software method is developed. Virtual simulation of this method and experimental testing are made. The results can be used for design and manufacture of optical devices, which will be used for technological control of external diameter of cable, wire, trumpet and other products.
