Abstract: | Phase contrast radiography is one of the newest methods of obtaining high-contrast X-ray images. In this paper, we consider the possibility of using phase-contrast X-ray imaging to improve the quality of biological structures on the example of the cow's knee. To solve this problem in the laboratory "X-ray optics" the Department of Applied Physics at Tomsk Polytechnic University Physical-Technical Institute, was designed and built hardware system for testing of the X-ray interferometry method with the use of diffraction gratings. As a result, the test studies on the obtained images can clearly be seen the structure of spongy bone and cartilaginous epiphysis epiphyseal plate over it. |
