| Abstract: | The electro-blasting destruction of rocks have been described. The experiments were carried out with the specimens of volume 0,125-0,5 m3 at the operating voltage of the high-current pulse generator 11-13 kV and maximum stored energy 95 kJ. The electro-blasts were produced in different types of rock with the boreholes depth about 0,6 from the specimen length. The average specific energy consumption is about 145 kJ/m3 for water as transmission medium, and 120 kJ/m3 for polyethylene as transmission medium. |
