Abstract

As part of this study, the authors present the use of the brainstorming method to identify features of a digital financial pyramid. Classification and typology of financial pyramids based on data from the Bank of Russia has been carried out. During the collective discussion, the significance of the digital criteria of the financial pyramid was determined. The significance of the methods of attracting participants by the organizers was assessed (by channels and content); characteristics of a person who is due to involve in a high-risk scheme, factors of financial pyramid attractiveness for participants, reasons why actions of financial pyramid's participants loose investments were revealed
