Поддержка познавательной активности студентов технического вуза через применение "кьюбинг" технологии в обучении иностранному языку

Abstract

The paper is intended to present the application of cubing technology as one of the effective interactive methods in foreign language teaching. It motivates cognitive activity as well as develops unique skills of the engineering university graduates. The paper deals with the opportunities to use IT-technologies, team and independent work, critical thinking, interdisciplinary learning, project work and problem-solving. The authors pay attention to advantages of using the technology stated and give the example of its usage in foreign language classes with students of Natural Resources Institute in Tomsk Polytechnic University.
