Abstract: The article considers the ways to improve the operating efficiency of conventional combined heat power plants using gas-turbine topping scheme allowing heat utilization of flue gases for steam reheating in the waste-heat steam boiler. The calculating analysis was performed for a steam-turbine power generating unit with a turbine of the Т-110/120-130 brand name intended for various modes of operation.
