Abstract:	The experience of application the model of open innovation as an effective model for increasing innovation activity is considered in this article by leading innovative world economies: the USA, Germany, Finland, the Netherlands. The Russian experience of application the model of open innovation also considered, and comparison held with the foreign experience. The main obstacles to the introduction of the model of open innovation are identified in our country, based on the comparison.
